Halloween mulled punch served
We love halloween, so in celebration of Samhain (A festival celebrating the end of summer and the darker half of the year) We will celebrate pagan, wiccan traditions and halloween holiday customs. At Samhain, it was believed the boundaries between this world and the other world could more easily be crossed, along with guising as a part of the festival, where people would go door to door in costume as a way of disguising oneself. Divination and rituals were also present.
In this workshop you will be taught how to make your own headdress using mediums appropriate for the celebration. Such as, twigs, earth, moss, leaves, foliage, real feathers and real bird skulls. You can be as dramatic as you want when you create your costume (this could also be something you wear not just for Halloween!) We will have plenty of ideas and inspiration on mood boards to help you choose what to create!
