Beginners taxidermy mouse workshop

Learn the amazing process of taxidermy here at Moth Studios

This is a beginners class, where Sherene will teach you the process of skinning, cleaning and manikin making before putting your mouse back together.

A special, unusual and challenging workshop on the outskirts of Newcastle’s city centre. This really is something different to do with your weekend that’s for sure!

Tea, coffee and water for throughout the day are available

LUNCH: We will break for 45mins

Closest cafe, pub, coffee shop, or supermarket is a 5-10 minute walk away in any direction

(Morrisons Byker, Greggs Byker, Byker Farm Cafe, Mariana Giani pizza slice, Ernie Hatch, Deep North doughnuts & coffee, Dreamworld Cakes)

But please feel free to bring your own lunches/packed lunch if you would prefer!

We will supply all specimens, tools, & bases

Glass bell jars will be available inside the studio for £20 each, if you would like to keep your mouse protected when its at home.

Moth Studios mouse workshops are a bi-product of the food chain (animal feed – birds of prey & reptiles) and the body/remains are given back as feed (We only use the skins!)

Gift vouchers are available for this class.

Refunds and Exchanges:

Our refund and exchange policy is set as we are a small business and we have all of our materials, tools and set- up prepared way in advance according to numbers.

• No refunds on classes
• Exchanges only allowed with 24 hours notice.
• In the event of an exchange, please have your choice of exchange ready to transfer, and we will arrange depending on available seats at the time of exchange request.
• Exchanges can also be used as shop credit.
• One exchange per customer per class.
