Beginners sleeping mouse taxidermy

A beginners workshop at Moth Studios, where students will learn the process of taxidermy in a relaxed and friendly location.

You will begin with your rodent specimen, learning the process of skinning, cleaning and manikin making before putting your little mouse back together. We will pose our mice to look like they are in a deep slumber…and rest them inside a real glass bell jar.

A special, unusual and challenging workshop right in the city centre. Something different to do with your weekend that’s for sure…

All tools and specimens are provided by Moth Studios, along with refreshments for the day, but please feel free to bring your own lunches if you would prefer.

Moth Studios mouse workshops are a bi-product of the food chain and the body/remains are given back as feed (We only use the skins!)
