Honey bee preservation & framing

Entomology classes at Moth Studios…
Beginners learn the techniques of how to rehydrate, relax and pin real honey bee specimens, then learn to mount them into its own shadow box frame ready to take home.
We have various contacts with local bee keepers from Northumberland and after the bees die, they are passed on to Moth Studios.
A popular workshop for those who have an interest in taxidermy and getting started with the basics of death via entomology. Honey bees are such interesting and beautiful animals to study, you will be sure to learn something you didn’t know about bees in this workshop!
